GiG Authorized To Supply Sportsbook And PAM Services In Pennsylvania

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) announced Wednesday it has received interim authorization from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), allowing it to do business in the US state as an interactive gaming manufacturer. Under the terms of the agreement, GiG can now offer its Player Account Manager (PAM) services and Sportsbook in the region.

In a press release, the company stated that it now holds over four years of experience in the US, and currently serves 26 regulated markets. It furthermore added that it has another 9 markets “in the pipeline.”

The company added that its “nimble technology, built around easy configuration and event-driven architecture, complements the need to evolve as operators enter new, more complex markets.”

Claudio Caruana, General Counsel for GiG, said: “The addition of a Pennsylvania authorization to our ever-expanding list of supported markets is a testament to the focus that GiG has placed on regulated markets which we strongly believe underpins sustainable and prosperous growth within the online iGaming industry.”

Figures posted in August by the PGCB, acknowledging the potential for growth, recorded iGaming revenue in Pennsylvania at 11% higher year-over-year, at $98.6 million.

Having partnered with Ocean Casino Resort to secure access to the limited license market in the Garden State, PlayStar Casino’s launch will see the brand leverage its product offering, which is centered around GiG’s platform.
