A new chapter in Florida’s gaming landscape was inaugurated with a grand celebration attended by a star-studded lineup and tribal leaders at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood.

Among the high-profile attendees were Jon Bon Jovi, Bruno Mars, Tiësto, Heather Graham, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Diplo, Cedric Gervais, Mike Tyson, Dwyane Wade, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Sarah Hyland, Willy Chirino, Max Weinberg, Bobbi Althoff, and SI Swimsuit Cover Model Brooks Nader. These luminaries graced the red carpet and actively participated in the inauguration of craps, roulette, and sports betting.

At Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, a series of exclusive events marked the debut of the new gaming options, including a special dining experience from the Carbone restaurant. Crafted by chef Mario Carbone, this pop-up restaurant paid homage to New York’s Italian-American cuisine.

The ceremonial launch was spearheaded by Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman Marcellus Osceola Jr., accompanied by members of the Seminole Tribal Council, and Seminole Gaming CEO and Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood hosted the main ceremony, while similar events unfurled at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood.

These additions of craps, roulette, and sports betting were realized through the Gaming Compact, an agreement endorsed by the Seminole Tribe and the State of Florida in 2021. These games now join a repertoire that includes blackjack, baccarat, and various casino card games, alongside a myriad of state-of-the-art slot machines across all six Seminole Casinos in Florida.

Chairman Osceola expressed pride in this milestone, affirming: “The Seminole Tribe of Florida is proud to point to a new era in Florida gaming with the unveiling of our new casino games.” He emphasized that with these additions, they stand shoulder to shoulder with leading casinos globally.

Echoing the sentiment, Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen highlighted the economic impact anticipated from these gaming expansions. He emphasized the boost in tourism to Florida and the resulting employment surge, not just within Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood but also across neighboring businesses, driven by increased foot traffic.
