With a new year for the gambling industry in full force and one month already in the rearview mirror, EGT and EGT Digital gear up to kick off the events calendar for 2024 with a showcase at the latest edition of ICE London, to take place February 6 – 8, at ExCel London. As the event prepares to bid farewell to its home in the UK capital, with ICE set to relocate to Barcelona starting next year, the companies look forward to presenting their latest developments in the UK capital for the last time.
Ahead of the exhibition, Yogonet caught up with Nadia Popova, Chief Revenue Officer and VP Sales & Marketing at EGT, on what to expect from EGT and EGT Digital’s participation, what opportunities ICE brings to the companies, and much more.
What will be the main novelties that EGT and EGT Digital will present and focus on at ICE London this year?
We will stay true to ourselves and during this year’s edition of ICE London both EGT and EGT Digital will demonstrate new impressive developments together with their well-known top performers.
EGT’s absolute bestseller Bell Link will showcase its new multigame Multi 2, consisting of 10 titles, 5 of which will be entirely new. On display will be also the latest addition to our jackpot family: Sheng Sheng Bu Xi, as well as the entirely new multigame series Supreme, which will be presented by its first member Supreme Green Selection with 16 high-potential slot games. The selection will be complemented by our newest multiplayer solutions: the roulettes G R6 SQ and G R4 SQ.
EGT Digital will show its vast diversity of games, including nearly 100 in-house developed slot titles. Among the main highlights will be Sugar Duke, a brand-new cascade proposal of the portfolio of the jackpot bestseller Clover Chance.
We will also present our all-in-one betting platform X-Nave with its 4 modules: Sportsbook product, Casino aggregator, CRM Engine and Payment Gateway, each of which can be both part of the complete solution or operate separately as they allow integration with third-party providers. Now X-Nave is ready to captivate our customers with numerous new functionalities, providing an even better gaming experience.
What does EGT expect from this new edition of ICE?
ICE London is the largest gaming exhibition on a global level and as always we look forward to seeing our current partners as well as meeting many potential new clients. I believe that our participation this year will be very successful considering the fascinating product display that we will be presenting, as well as the attractive stand where we will be welcoming our guests.
What type of solutions are your clients looking for at the moment?
Changes in industry trends are closely related to changes in the needs and requirements of operators and players. In the last few years, especially during and after the pandemic, online gaming has experienced a growth spurt. This is one of the sustainable trends that will continue to develop in the coming years together with the ever-widening application of AI in new gaming products that will hit the market in the following months.
What is your assessment of how the sector developed in 2023. What plans does the company have for 2024?
I think that the gaming industry as a whole had a very fruitful 2023 and it looks like 2024 will be no different. For EGT and EGT Digital in particular, the past 12 months have been very successful as well: we have launched new products, which have been received very well, we have also started a number of new collaborations and strengthened our long-term partnerships.
In 2024, we plan to maintain and solidify our leadership positions in the global gaming industry by launching new products and entering new markets.
What other industry events do EGT and EGT Digital plan to attend this year?
EGT and EGT Digital will take part in many exhibitions throughout the year. The next events where our two companies will present their developments are the Irish Gaming Show and SIGMA Africa in March.
EGT Digital recently debuted in the Italian market, while EGT expanded on its partnership with Albania’s Regency Casino Tirana. What does the company’s future look like where expansion is concerned?
EGT’s products and services currently have a presence in more than 100 countries globally and our major focus in 2024 will be to set foot in new jurisdictions, located mainly in Asia and Africa.
As for EGT Digital, the markets that we will be targeting this year are mostly in Europe and Latin America, with Asia and Africa also of great interest to us.
