The 2024 edition of ICE London will take place next week, and the most prominent companies in the sector are ready to showcase their best proposals and establish new business links. One of the companies that is looking forward to what will be the last edition of the event in the English capital before moving to Barcelona is Win Systems.

Yogonet held an exclusive interview with Eric Benchimol, CEO of Win Systems, who highlighted the novelties they have prepared for this new edition and referred to the expectations for the change of venue.

What are the objectives and expectations of Win Systems’ participation in ICE London 2024? How will the company attract attendees to the event and what will it offer at its booth?

We are very happy to participate in ICE for another year, especially in this edition where we will be implementing a new format of meetings with customers and visitors in our exclusive ‘VIP Lounge’.

Our Lounge will not only serve as a meeting point for Win Systems executives and members to have more relaxed and productive meetings with customers and visitors, but we will also showcase all our powerful new products in both Gaming and Systems.

In terms of Systems, visitors will have the opportunity to get a close look at the latest developments of our prestigious WIGOS casino management system, such as Winup Wallet, the new generation of InTouch displays, or the innovative Lucy & Pierre-themed jackpot.

As for the Gaming division, we will showcase the latest and exclusive Gold Club Symphony electronic roulette (which caused a furor when we presented it in Las Vegas in October), the powerful Sublime Slot, and the new cabinet designed for the road market, the Rhapsody XL. Of course, we also our new and exciting games, our offerings tailored to specific markets, and so on.

But, as we said, the main novelty is that we will schedule all meetings in our Lounge to ensure that we can invest quality time with each of our visitors to understand their needs, and what solutions (among all these and many more we can offer) best suit each operation.

In addition to inaugurating a new year of events, the 2024 edition of ICE will be the last in London. How do you think this will be reflected in the event?

The last edition of ICE in London undoubtedly marks the closing of a significant chapter in the field of trade shows within the gaming industry. For our part, this farewell comes loaded with gratitude for all that London has given us, we have been present here for more than 20 years (only interrupted by the pandemic).

We believe that this last edition will be filled with a certain nostalgia, but also with expectations for the evolution of ICE, and for the changes that the move to the new venue will mean for the whole sector. In any case, we know perfectly well the incredible city of Barcelona, and we are convinced that it represents a great opportunity for everyone.

What benefits or consequences do you think the change of venue to the city of Barcelona may have?

Like the rest of the exhibitors, we are watching this transition with great interest. We firmly believe that this change of venue will have a very positive impact for the whole sector, and especially for land-based operators. Barcelona can be an ideal setting to attract new markets to ICE and energize the sector in Spain and throughout Europe. We believe that new trends and new opportunities will be generated.

In any case, our commitment to ICE and the sector remains as strong as ever, wherever it is held.

What other industry events do you plan to attend in the coming months?

ICE marks the beginning of a very intense semester in terms of fairs and events, especially in Europe and America, which are two regions of maximum relevance for Win Systems. The important thing is that we want to maintain this same strategy of proximity with our customers and with all casino operators, and we want to do it in as many strategic markets as possible.

Thus, in the coming months, we will be attending fairs in the United States, Ireland, Spain, Colombia, and Peru, while continuing to evaluate participation in other events (even organizing our events if necessary) that will allow us to achieve the goal of being closer to our customers and their operation.

After the recent announcement of the opening of two new offices in the United States and Argentina, what are the expectations for this expansion?

Win Systems is experiencing very rapid growth throughout the Americas (in other regions as well, but the Americas is where we were born and where we have the strongest presence). This forces us to constantly review our operations in these markets, which includes opening or improving our facilities when necessary, as is the case with the offices in Miami and Buenos Aires, or the logistics center we opened in Peru a few months ago. Once again, our goal is to provide the service that our customers deserve and expect from us.
